IF: Milton Keynes International Festival taook place from 16 – 25 July 2010 and presented an ambitious, high quality programme at locations across central Milton Keynes.

Inspired by the unique architectural landscape of the city, the Festival’s international multi-arts programme will include huge family events, concerts, theatre, dance, music and visual arts installations in unusual locations such as boulevards, parks, public squares and disused shops.

The Magical Menagerie was the centre piece to the festival where visitors were transported to a wild and imaginary land. A gigantic carousel swarming with oversized mythical creatures was the fantastical creation of visionary artist and engineer François Delarozière.

There were also UK premieres and brand new festival commissions from the likes of world acclaimed percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie and leading sound-artist Janek Schaefer.
