Teenagers to take part in project promoted by Southbank Centre and Tate Modern.
Fifty-four London youths aged 16 to 19 will become impromptu artists, staging dance performances, a touring exhibition, and a cellphone-film festival in a project promoted by the Southbank Centre and Tate Modern.
Through December, the campaign known as 'Street Genius' will see 24 cultural bodies work with young people from the surrounding areas -- living or studying in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark -- to produce films, exhibitions, and shows. The youths will be coached by professionals, the institutions said in a release issued for a press presentation.
