Take a voyage into a fairytale world this summer…

The Magical Menagerie

Think Milton Keynes. Think magical. No immediate connection there, right? Well, have we got a surprise in store for you…

We’re thrilled to be working with our creative partners Artichoke once again to bring you a truly magical experience in Milton Keynes, The Magical Menagerie. We are collaborating with the extraordinary artist and engineer François Delarozière and his company La Machine to bring you an installation with a difference; a huge, square carousel, as tall as a house and populated by all manner of strange mechanical creatures that can be operated by their riders, from gigantic buffalo to exotic fish and brightly-coloured insects. Really.

This astonishing interactive artwork was originally commissioned by the new town of Sénart, just outside Paris. Since its unveiling in 2008, it has delighted thousands of visitors there as well as in Spain, Portugal and Belgium.

This sounds suitably bonkers, I want to go!
You can take a ride on The Magical Menagerie at the Milton Keynes International Festival from 16 July to 8 August. For more information and tickets, simply visit the Milton Keynes International Festival website, or call the box office on 01908 280800.

Sky Sundays
As a special festive treat, we are offering 2 tickets for the price of 1 on Sundays 18 July and 1 August, as well as an accompanying raft of extra entertainment to keep young and old amused.
