A group of girls set off through the streets of Belfast for their Irish dancing classes. On the way they encounter a group of Protestant boys who, in turn, are on their way to drumming rehearsals at the Orange Lodge for the 12th of July parades.
Despite the differences, both cultural and religious between Protestant and Catholic in Northern Ireland, something links these two communities: dance. On the dance floor the two traditions can meet, showing there is as much that divides the two communities in Northern Ireland.
