Beautiful and lively ballet version of Strauss's Die Fledermaus by the master French choreographer, Roland Petit

Frenchman Roland Petit, born in 1924, is one of the great choreographers of the 20th century, who combines traditional grace and artistry with modern passion and 'relevance'.

This ballet version of Johann Strauss's popular operetta Die Fledermaus was created in 1979, and this recording stars Petit's wife Zizi Jeanmaire, along with Marseille National Ballet.
