Ricky Gervais on Inside The Actors Studio

This enormously popular talk show series has been running for over 12 years and is famed for attracting the cream of Hollywood stars – and inviting them to discuss the craft of their profession.

Here on Sky Arts, we'll be broadcasting episodes from seasons 12 and 13, which include interviews with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

In this episode  award winning actor, writer and director Ricky Gervais reveals all to James Lipton. Gervais was the co-writer, co-director and star of the British version of The Office and has won seven British Academy Awards, four British Comedy Awards, and two Emmy Awards.

In 2007, Gervais won both an Emmy and a British Academy Award for his performance as Andy Millman in Extras, which he also co-wrote and co-directed.

His creation of Flanimals, has become a series of bestselling books and his stand-up comedy tours continue to sell out across the World.

In this episode of Inside The Actors Studio, Gervais talks to James Lipton about his religious views, his belief that the truth doesn’t hurt and weeing in the sink before he found success.
