This is one of Harold Lloyd's best-known classics: He stars as the the geeky office clerk in a city high-rise, and is infatuated by the girl who works in the office next door. She works for an osteopath whose business isn't doing too well, so in order to drum up some business for her boss, Lloyd gets an actor friend to fake injuries that the doctor then 'cures'. The doctor's reputation grows, but the girl decides to marry another, leaving Lloyd suicidal and forced to invent ever-more elaborate methods of dispatching himself.
