Buster Keaton makes an early mark in this 1917 feature, which stars Fatty Arbuckle at the height of his career.

Fatty is Dr. Holepoke, who, while at the races with his wife and family, has his attention taken by a pretty woman. When both he and the other woman's boyfriend lose their money on the same horse, both of the women are unhappy, but while Dr. Holepoke thinks about how to get some new patients, the other man has a plan to recover some of his losses at the doctor's expense
