Established in 1994 and in (2007) its 13th year, the International Benicàssim Festival near Valencia, Spain provides all night music over 4 days. Along with all night beach parties there has probably never been a better reason to pack your bikini in your rucksack and get on a plane...

Benicassim has something to offer across the whole musical spectrum, as indie and rock bands rub shoulders with DJs and more experimental music projects. Acts including The Raconterus, Muse, B-52s, Arctic Monkeys, CSS, The Magic Numbers, Iggy & the Stooges, Kings of Leon, Human League and more feature in this years line-up.

As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival boasts a quality bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films. As well as the usual markets, bars, and food outlets.

Several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival, including the Internacional de Cortos FIB short film festival, the Mustang Fashion Weekend, the FIB-art exhibition, and the Cita con la Danza festival of dance and choreography, with educational arts courses on top of all this provided by local university, Universidad Jaume I.
