In Dreams: The Roy Orbison Story

A portait of 'The Big O'...

Elvis Presley once called him "the greatest singer in the world". Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees referred to him as "the voice of God". Academy Award-winning composer Will Jennings stated that the musical genius Roy Orbison was "a poet, a songwriter, a vision" after they collaborated on a song for a film.

Such sentiments and testimonials are plentiful throughout this riveting biographical documentary. But such was the lack of attention paid to Orbison's career during his lifetime, these posthumous tributes are not cloying. The documentary also features exclusive performance footage and interview excerpts from the likes of Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Tom petty, k. d. lang and George Harrison, among many others, and highlight the length and breadth of Roy Orbison's exceptional career.
