Series celebrating jazz

Masters of American Music is an award-winning television series of ten shows that celebrate a pantheon of the greatest innovators in jazz. Produced by Toby Byron, it was the first TV series devoted to jazz.
Included are the sprawling 'Story of Jazz,' and 'Bluesland,' and exciting survey of the blues and its impact on the course of jazz and popular music across the 20th Century. Individual programs trace the lives and works of master musicians who defined the course of America's classical music. From its birth in New Orleans, to swing, the big bands, bebop, free jazz and beyond: all of it is explored with sensitivity and in unique depth.
Over 80 interviews were filmed in the making of the series. Featured artists come to life through these interviews, exciting rare performances, period footage and vintage photographs meticulously reproduced. A who's who of Jazz historians such as Albert Murray, Gary Giddins, Robert Palmer, Dan Morgenstern, Robert O'Meally and Phil Schaap bring their passions and insights to these shows.

I love these films. They were all very good but Armstrong and Bluesland are standouts. Please put more such items on the channel. I subscribed to the original Artsworld channel and am delighted that Sky has kept the same standards
