Neil Young's acoustic tour in 2000

Neil Young

Silver and Gold and album released in 2000, on this acoustic tour young looks back over his life and career with a warm, nostalgic view.

Neil YoungWatch: Neil Young: Silver and Gold

Musically the album that this tour was based upon is a return to the previous country style material of earlier records like Harvest which also fittingly young plays on this tour.
Along with Harvest Young plays other older songs however most of the songs on this acoustic session are from the studio album. This show confirms the idea that not much re-mixing was done or needed for the studio album, it certainly proves Young is still there, playing true songs his own way.

A must for the fans, if you like his milder, reflective side this is for you.

Songs performed include:
- Intro
- Looking Forward
- Out Of Control
- Buffalo Springfield Again
- Philadelphia
- Daddy Went Walkin'
- Distant Camera
- Red Sun
- Long May You Run
- Harvest Moon
- The Great Divide
- Slowpoke
- Good To See You
- Silver & Gold
