From what I can gather it airs again on 16/11 @ 21:00 and on the 17/11 @ 11:10, 13:00 and 17:15. Still dunno if it will be shown on HD tho the times were only listed for Sky Arts.

Stumbled across this while I was waiting for the football last Sunday morning and it was an absolute joy. I already have it on DVD but coming across it like that was a rare treat, so thank you Sky Arts. Also West Ham managed a draw, so I had two results in a row!

I had no idea that Sky Arts was showing this and damn I’m glad I found out about it. I also think they are just showing all of Dark side and nothing else, which is unfortunate :(.

The show is only Dark Side of the Moon, And as much as I love it there was a full 80 minute set with 10 songs before they did Dark Side and a 20+ minute encore of 3 songs after it.
So how about it Sky. Pick up the rights to, and show, the complete 150 min concert in glorious HD?.

“As part of their set, the group began playing their classic 1973 album the complete live performance of The Dark Side of the Moon for the first time ever”
Whoever wrote that is an idiot and should learn to get their facts straight!!
I have several versions of PF playing the entire DSOTM album live in 1974.
It is professionally recorded for airing on the BBC and is a soundboard recording.
So they played the entire album live 20 years prior to this, they did not start playing the entire album live for the first time ever in 1994!!

Chaos, they can only mean the new-Watersless-PF playing TDSOTM for the first time (let’s hope, otherwise you’re right). In fact Eclipse was performed from the start of 1972, perfected as a live show, changing its name to Dark Side Of The Moon before finalising on The Dark Side Of The Moon. Then, when successful as an album, live shows were limited, the band had been hard promoting for many years and reduced their performance workload. 1974 saw DS performed as we know it today with the visuals including Ian Emes animations. The album still sells more than 9000 copies per week, making it at least the third most successful album of all time with over 45m sales. Not bad for something that will turn 40 in 2013, but then it is timeless.
