The legendary band's Vegas return

The Who: The Vegas Job was the reincarnation of The Who as a five-piece band. They hadn’t played together in three years and The Vegas Job, a one-off concert at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas in October 1999, was the kick-off for a new era. The concert was meant to be seen by an audience of over one billion via the internet, but technical difficulties prevented all but a few lucky ones from viewing the live internet broadcast.

The concert sees The Who’s original configuration with Roger Daltrey on vocals, Pete Townshend on guitar, John Entwistle on bass, Zak Starkey on drums and John Bundrick on keyboards. The concert is full of The Who’s hits from I Can’t Explain and The Kids Are Alright to Magic Bus and My Generation. You may have missed it on the internet some years ago, but you won’t be missing it on Sky Arts.
