Irish rock legends Thin Lizzy stood out from their generation of rockers with their intelligent lyrics of working-class alienation and their addition of celtic elements to their mix of tight, hard-hitting guitar riffs.

This rare concert captures all the excitement of their live appearance as their Live and Dangerous tour culminated in London in 1978 at the legendary Rainbow Theatre.

I just finished watching the Rainbow gig on VH1. TL was a great band, I remember one night around 1979 or ‘80 coming out of a pub on Fulham Palace Road in SW London and almost bumping into Phil Lynott, who was just walking by. I think this was a bit after his single “Sarah” was released.
