Bjork - Volta Live in Paris and Reykjavik
Bjork in an electic and theatrical concert
Bjork is famed for her eccentric fashion taste and avant-garde music - and to some she is an acquired taste, but for this concert her distinct style is a feast for both the eyes and the ears.

As much a piece of art as a pop concert, the lighting design, pyrotechnics and costumes are colourfully dazzling. She appears on stage in a brightly coloured, tribal themed outfit with striped face paint across her forehead. She is joined by a group of girls who form a creative unit that is part band and part theatrical chorus. Wearing similar tribal outfits with flamboyant head dresses they are raised on a podium as they provide a heavy brass sound to the music. This creates traditional instrumentation for a very untraditional sound that combined with electronic scoring creates the Bjork effect that is a fushion of pop, dance, electro and folk.
She skips, claps, chants and sings energetically across the stage – throwing bits of white web out into her audience – whilst singing songs from her 2007 album, Volta.
Watch out for Bjork's costume change into the pink tin foil extravaganza.
