Unfortunately we missed the “behind the scenes” of La Boheme. Would you be able to tell me when it will be going out again. I am very interested in this and hope that you will repeat it. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in anticipation.

“La Boheme”; absolutely A1 entertainment from the best seats in the stalls (our own sofa) and the guided tour behind the scenes.
Congratulations to everyone from Sir Jonathan to the snowmakers!
Don’t keep us waiting too long for another superb production.

When do you intend to show a new opera production? I am fed up with the same productions shown for the upteenth time each month. Do you know what? There are Opera Houses other than the Met. The ENO Boheme seems to have been a one off just to launch SkyArts 2. Ordinarily no one pays to buy the same object each month yet I seem to do so quite merrily. I may have to think again but first I wait to see what your contract with Covent Garden will yield. I suppose 5 or 6 operas repeated for the next 12 months if we are lucky. I am greatly disillusioned. Perhaps I should give the same money each month.

Don’t know why John in disillusioned with Sky Arts broadcasts. Since I can’t get the new Freeview transmittions in my area I find the Sky HD box fantastic and for just £1 more I can get a raft of channels including Sky Arts 1 & 2. Does the BBC give you an Opera in full over Breakfast, no not even Radio 3. How many times do the BBC repeat Opera or Classical Programmes if you missed it the first time, not very often and at some strange times at that (2am). Knowing a little about the licensing arrangements of various broadcasting organisations throughout the world the cost of acquiring such rights is very high and so need to negotiate hard. I am gateful Sky does, long may they continue to broadcast and will certainly keep me.
