Even though I have seen every episode of IT seasons one and two at least twice, I still upgraded to get Sky Arts and will be tuning in to watch all over again this evening. There is such a lot TO this programme - the writing, the acting, the characters - that I don’t think it’ll never get boring. Well done Sky for snapping this up after the Edinburgh Film Festival.

Fantastic show. By the way, it’s never mentioned in the writing credits, but this show was originally seen in Israel in Hebrew, and later adapted for the U.S. Gabriel Byrne’s role was played by Assi Dayan. It was very successful in Israel, too.

What happened to Sky Arts last night? Friday 16th October? I live in the south of England and was looking forward to the programme and a History of Lesbian and Gay Cinema which followed. The Sky Arts programme vanished from the schedules. Sky Art 1 & 2 & HD were there but not Sky Arts. Why not???

This is undoubtedly the best thing to grace our televisions in a long time. Gabriel Byrne as shown us why is one of the greatest actors; not only in his speech but in his silence, you feel everything. The ‘patients’ are also incredible, In Treatment has shown the true skills behind these established and new actors. Who else felt there heart pounding in there chest when Paul was with Laura, the want, the agony of all the emotion. I wait with anticipation for Season 2.
